2013 International CES is about to start here in Las Vegas.

Maroon 5 and Rohan Marley are among the special guests scheduled to make appearances at the event.

Along with more artists, movie stars and TV Personalities, The Consumer Electronics Show will visit Las Vegas to promote the latest technology that the consumer electronics industry has to offer.

From January the 8th to the 11th, The Las Vegas Convention Center will be hosting the World’s Largest Annual Innovation Event, a paradise for technology lovers and for whoever is ready to live the future, right now in the present.

3 years ago CES came up with a program called Entertainment Matters, in order to support and promote technology in the industry of Entertainment.

In 2012, this program attracted more than 32,000 content and entertainment professionals, with a good percentage of high positions and executive titles. Attendees included people from 20th Century Fox, Facebook, Paramount, Universal Studios, Viacom, Warner Bros. TV and YouTube.

This year, the Entertainment Matters (EM) Ambassador will be the actress Felicia Day, (“Vi”) from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson among others will make appearances in different places and schedules even before CES officially begins on January 8th. The list of celebrities that will be either signing autographs or featuring the latest in technology ranges from sport stars to the most popular artists: former Welter-weight boxing champion Victor Ortiz, Anthony Ryan Auld, the hottest designer on “Project Runway”, the World-renowned drummer and producer Travis Baker, even Rohan Marley, former football player and son of Bob Marley will be showcasing his House of Marley eco-friendly headphones.

CES 2013 is expecting numerous celebrities to attend this years convention, and as expected, the Multi-platinum, three-time Grammy Award winning band Maroon 5 will be making a special guest appearance during the show, as well as appearing in part of the CES pre-shows.
