COLLISION DETAILS: On January 8, 2013, at approximately 6:23 PM, an Auto / Auto critical injury traffic collision occurred on Spring Mountain Road in the intersection of Buffalo Drive. Evidence at the scene, and a witness, indicates the 2003 Hyundai was traveling westbound in the single left turn lane to southbound Buffalo Drive. The 2005 Honda Element was traveling eastbound in the inside travel lane, west of Buffalo Drive. As the 2005 Honda entered the intersection, the 2003 Hyundai turned left in front of the Honda and was struck. As a result of the collision, both drivers were transported to UMC Trauma. The driver of the Hyundai is listed in critical condition. The driver of the Honda is listed as serious. This collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Accident Investigations Section.
