LL Cool J sits down with Oprah on Next Chapter
Hip Hop icon and famed actor LL Cool J recently sat down with the Queen of talk Oprah Winfrey for an interview on her OWN network. For the first time LL Cool J opens up about the abuse he fell victim to by one of his mom’s friends. Abuse he says was never sexual but involved his mom’s friend stripping him of his clothes and hitting him with vacuum cleaner pipes. This man LL Cool J speaks of name is Roscoe and LL Cool J says he was both physically and mentally abused by Roscoe.
It was in his 1997 autobiography, Make My Own Rules, where LL Cool J first spoke of this abuse. Now, LL is speaking out about it again with Oprah Winfrey.
LL Cool J who retired from Hip Hop after his ‘Exit 13’ album has been appearing in films and in his TV show NCIS:Los Angeles. Recently, LL made the news when his home in Los Angeles was broken into while he was still home.
Also, Mr. Cool J has not let his love for music just fade away for he has released two tracks recently, one entitled ‘Ratchet’ which he caught some flack for among hip hop heads. However, LL made up for it when he released ‘Take it’ featuring Joe giving fans, mainly the ladies the LL they all use to and still love.
Next up for LL Cool J he is hosting the 2013 Grammys for the second straight year but first tomorrow night fans can catch his sit down interview with Oprah at 9pm PST on OWN’s ‘Next Chapter.’
