Child struck by a vehicle

At 2:43 pm, officers were called to the 800 block of Nomas regarding a child struck by a vehicle. The father was backing up the driveway when his 2 year old child, (L/M), ran behind the vehicle and consequently was struck. The child was transported to Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. This appears accidental, but the Child Abuse Agency is investigating.
