At 5 p.m., Saturday evening, several officers responded to a call for service at 3100 Chihuahua regarding about 15 males drinking and shooting guns. When officers arrived at the location they observed a Latino male, 46 suspect in a vehicle. Officers approached the vehicle and the suspect pointed a handgun at the officers. Fearing for their safety, the officers fired their weapons striking the suspect. The suspect was transported to a local hospital and is in critical but stable condition. No officers were injured.
