COLLISION DETAILS: On February 7, 2013 at approximately 6:49 p.m., a critical injury, SUV / motorized wheelchair traffic collision occurred on Craig Road, 838 feet east of Nellis Boulevard.  Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate a 2012 Honda CRV was traveling westbound on Craig Road in the middle travel lane.  An 82 year old non‐ motorist, operating a motorized wheelchair, was attempting to cross Craig Road from the south to the north, outside a marked crosswalk.  The non‐motorist entered into the westbound travel lanes and path of the Honda which caused a collision.  As a result, the non‐motorist was transported to UMC Trauma and admitted with critical injuries.  The driver of the Honda did not claim any injuries.  This accident remains under investigation by the LVMPD Accident Investigation Section.
