Las Vegas: Ricardo Glasgow stabs girlfriend multiple times

Ricardo Glasgow Stabs Girlfriend, Numerous Times.

On February 17, 2013, at approximately 11:27 pm. LVMPD Patrol Officers responded to a home in the 1500 block of Silver Knoll Avenue, in the South Central part of Las Vegas, to investigate a family disturbance.

Arriving officers contacted a male suspect, later identified as Ricardo Glasgow. He was covered in blood and standing in the front yard of the residence. When officers began moving towards Glasgow, and commanding him to surrender he fled back into the house. Officers pursued Glasgow, into the residence where he was found holding a knife. Glasgow was physically subdued and arrested.

Officers also located an adult female, inside of the residence suffering from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds. Responding medical personnel, transported the female victim, later identified as Sharron Jones, 49 years of age of Southern California, and Glasgow’s girlfriend. She was sent to an area hospital where she ultimately died from her injuries.

During the investigation into this incident, it was also determined Ricardo Glasgow was wanted on an outstanding California warrant for parole violation, stemming from an attempted murder charge in 2005. Glasgow, 53 years of age of Los Angeles California, was arrested for the charges of: Open murder, Resisting a police officer with a deadly weapon, Kidnapping, and a Fugitive warrant from another state. Because Ricardo Glasgow, is currently being held in medical segregation within the Clark County Detention Centre, no booking photograph is currently available.

The identity of the victim, and the exact cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

This investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with any information concerning this incident is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide section on 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers by phone on 385-5555 or via the Internet.
