This alert gives notice to residents of the 2nd (Wentworth) District on Beat 215 of an Attempt
Kidnapping incident. In the reported incident, the offender approached a juvenile victim and attempted to pull the victim into a vehicle. Incident date, time and location below:
• 4400 block of S. Prairie on March 4, 2013, at approximately 7:35 a.m.
About The Offender
• Male Black
• 20-25 years of age
• 5’07 – 5’08, 160- 170lbs
• Light complexion
• Wearing a gray baseball cap, gray mock collar sweater
About The Vehicle
• White conversion-type van, with burgundy stripes on the side

• Report suspicious activity to 911 immediately
• Walk in pairs/groups
• Monitor your child’s whereabouts
