Mississippi teen and two adults found dead shot in head

Three Found Dead in Jackson, Mississippi Home

Authorities have discovered two adults and a teenage girl dead in a north Mississippi home near Jackson.  They were each shot once in the head.

Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson says 55-year-old Wiley Young, 46-year-old Danica McCord and 13-year-old Destiny McCord appear to have died from the gunshot wounds, but autopsies are pending.

Sheriff Johnson said they are not looking for a suspect indicating the possibility of a murder-suicide.

A .45 caliber handgun was found at the scene.

Young and Danica McCord were dating, and possibly engaged, said sheriff Johnson.  Destiny was Danica’s daughter.

The bodies were found by Young’s son.
