The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to locate two
suspects and a vehicle involved in an early morning burglary.
On March 7, 2013 at approximately 6 a.m. The LVMPD call center received a call from a person reporting that her husband had been shot in the arm by a suspect after interrupting a burglary. Arriving officers made contact with the male victim who had apparent gunshot wound to his hand.
A preliminary investigation indicates the male victim and his wife drove to their son’s home at the 7200 block of Copper Road and inadvertently interrupted an in progress burglary.
The victim found a vehicle parked in the driveway with a female in the driver seat. A second female exited from inside the residence and confronted the victims. She entered the vehicle and produced a handgun, firing at the victim from inside the vehicle. The driver side window was shattered and the victim was struck on the hand. The
suspects then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to UMC and is in stable condition. The driver of the suspect vehicle was only described as a Hispanic female, late 20’s with a muscular build. The passenger was described as a Hispanic female, late 20’s with long black hair.
The suspect vehicle is described as a dark gray sedan with shattered driver side window. The suspects involved in this incident are considered armed and dangerous.
