School Bus Carrying 25 Children Overturns
About 8:15 a schoolbus carrying 25 Children to Newport Elementary School in Wadsworth Illinois was overturned Friday, leaving the bus lying on its side. The Fire Department is on the scene removing the children.
A fatality has been reported, although it is undetermined if it was an adult or a child. There is no word if any of the children were seriously injured, although there is an unconfirmed report that at least one child was injured.
The accident apparently involve a Jeep and an SUV.
Route 173 is closed while EMT’s and Fire Department Personnel attend to the children.
