Senate rejected a common sense proposal

Senatorial Cowards Wouldn’t Even Pass Background Checks

With most of the ‘teeth’ gone out of a proposed change in America’s gun control, the Senate rejected a common sense proposal.  They believe criminals and the mentally ill should be allowed to purchase assault rifles that expel hundreds of rounds a minute.

Our gutless legislators went against the wishes of the American people, including gun owners, and bowed down to the their master, the NRA gun lobby.

This was a slap in the face to the parents of the children who were massacred by a madman, and came to plea with the Senate for common sense legislation.

We, the people of the United States of America, have no voice in Washington.

The names of those who voted against the legislation will be made public.  Keep that list and make sure they fail in their re-election bids.

I am ashamed of our government.  ‘Politician’ has always been a lurid profession.  It is now entirely despicable.

how about the list of those in support? I propose we oust those who are treasonous to our very own constitution. Shame on you James. The second amendment does not say “unless mentally ill or a previous felon” (nor does the constitution state you loose your constitutional rights due to said occurrences)…but it[2nd amendment] does say “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED”
