LVMPD Homicide Detectives have arrested the two suspects wanted in connection with Thursday’s robbery of a 15 year
old juvenile which resulted in the victim’s death.
Marcos Arenas, 15 years of age of Las Vegas, was walking Westbound on Charleston Boulevard near Scholl Drive Thursday afternoon when an adult male grabbed the I-Pad he was carrying from his hands. Arenas fought for control of the device, and was dragged into the Westbound travel lanes of Charleston Boulevard by the suspect who entered the passenger side of a waiting vehicle. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene, striking Arenas who died of his injuries several hours later at a local hospital.
Jacob Dismont, 18 years of age of Las Vegas and Michael Samuel Solid, 21 years of age of Las Vegas, have been arrested in connection with this crime. Both Dismont and Solid have been booked into the Clark County Detention
