Sounds like Justin Bieber is hurting after his final split from his girlfriend Selena Gomez. According to those in the know, he has put a “Selena Gomez ban” on while he’s working.
According to those who’ve forgotten just how painful a broken heart can be, Justin Bieber is: paranoid, self-absorbed, a megalomaniac, well you get the idea. It’s all come about because of the latest rules on his photo shoots. These new “rules” include a ban on speaking to Justin and you can never, ever, play Selena Gomez music.
TMZ have gotten hold of a rider from a Justin Bieber photo shoot earlier this month. It is pretty impressive, as in “Diva” impressive, all that’s missing is endless bottles of mineral water to wash his locks in. As well as the “no Selena Gomez music;” other restrictions include no cell phones and no autographs whatsoever, which to be honest aren’t all that demanding.
But wait, it gets better.
The heartbroken Bieber has a list of food items that must be on set. A list that includes herbal teas; a deli platter; a veggie platter; a large pack of Swedish Fish; Ritz Bits Peanut Butter Sandwiches; Ritz Bitz Cheese Sandwiches, and 2 large packs of Haribo cola gummies.
It sounds as though the broken hearted Bieber is either trying to eat Selena out of his system, or he needs to lay off those “herbal” cigarettes. It also looks like he’s developed some sort of cleanliness fetish. Because he also wants on set several packs of white undershirts, tanks and socks as well.
Did we mention the required electronic music system that is compatible with an iPhone 5 and is battery operated? Presumably this will be used to play any music that is not by Selena Gomez.
It’s enough to make you cry at how badly Justin must be feeling after his breakup with Gomez. He admitted to Billboard Magazine way back in January that, “I’m not in the happiest place that I’ve ever been. I’m trying to get through what I’m going through. Like I said, I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going.”
So it does sound like all these demands are because the 19 year-old pop star is suffering and since he’s banned Selena Gomez music, Justin Bieber must be trying to heal his broken heart with some extra treats.
But apparently this diva-like rider isn’t real, at least according to Bieber’s rep. The rep says that the demands for no Selena Gomez music and the food requirements are f-a-k-e! The rep also says that the request that no one speak to the pop star is also untrue.
While all this broken hearted behaviour is, or isn’t, going on, Justin Bieber is currently on the American leg of his Believe world tour and he performed in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena last night.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber ended their relationship last year and played the old, on again – off again thing until they both got tired of it. So now, Bieber has enforced a Selena Gomez ban while his broken heart mends. We aren’t so old that we’ve forgotten the anguish of losing young love and we wish Justin a speedy recovery and may he never have to listen to Selena Gomez music again.
