Las Vegas: Arrest Made in 2006 Cold Case Murder

Homicide Detectives have made an arrest in a cold case murder investigation stemming from the death of a Las Vegas woman which occurred in 2006. On December 12, 2006, LVMPD Patrol Officers responded to the 5300 Block of Glen River Drive 

reference an apparent suicide. Investigators determined at the time that 21 year old Chantell Hollowell of Las Vegas had tragically taken her own life.

Cold Case Detectives received new information concerning the death of Hollowell and re-examined evidence from the scene that day and interviewed a possible suspect.

As a result of the investigation, Homicide Detectives have arrested 31 year old Shaun Leflore for one count of Murder with a Deadly Weapon in connection to Hollowell’s death. A booking photo of Leflore accompanies this release.
