COLLISION DETAILS:
On June 19, 2013 at approximately 8:52 p.m., a critical injury, auto / pedestrian traffic collision occurred on Jones Boulevard,south of Carmen Boulevard. Evidence at the scene indicated a 2012 Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on Jones Boulevard in the right travel lane,south of Carmen Boulevard. A pedestrian, was crossing Jones Boulevard outside a marked crosswalk,from the east to west, approximately 44 feet south of Carmen Boulevard. The pedestrian entered the right south bound travel lane and was struck by the front of the Nissan. The pedestrian was transported  toUMC Trauma Center and admitted with critical injuries. The collision remains underinvestigation by the LVMPD Accident Investigation Section.
