The Voice (NBC) is down to the final six contestants. The two-hour episode tonight should be exciting, with the competition heating up and coming down to the wire. Who will stay, who will go? Who will advance to the Final Four next week? Who will be the final two contestants? You will pick their destinies in the poll at the bottom of the page.
Do you think that you have what it takes to choose the final two singers who will make it all the way to the last episode of The Voice Season 4? Will you choose two of the three who are left on Team Blake, like Holly Tucker, The Swon Brothers, and Danielle Bradbery?
Or, will you choose some combination of Amber Carrington from Team Adam, Michelle Chamuel from Team Usher and Sasha Allen from Team Shakira? Possibly your choice will combine one or more contestants from Team Blake with one of the singers from the other three teams.
For no apparent reason, I will choose Amber Carrington and The Swon Brothers. I really like the singing of both, and I will go out on a limb and say that this will be the first year that any sort of act other than a solo act makes it to the final show.
Will tonight’s The Voice prove to be as hsocking as last week’s, with the double elimination of the frontrunners at the time, Sarah Simmons and Judith Hill?
While Blake Shelton and his team have dominated since the Top 16 formed several weeks ago, Team Andy Levine has also been tough to beat — that is, up until last week’s double elimination when Sarah Simmons and Judith Hill were sent packing.
Blake Shelton and his team have dominated . Team Adam Levine also had a strong presence as the rounds progressed but two of the Maroon 5 front man’s competitors, Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons, were shown the door last week.
The Top 6 competitors left will each perform two songs Monday night, instead of the usual one that they had sung up until tonight.
If any contestant’s performance Monday night hits the Top 10 on the iTunes chart, he or she will receive a 10x multiplier from the iTunes votes. This could be the crucial determining factor on if a competitor stays or goes.
Danielle Bradbery is the only one who has received that bonus this season. She earned it by performing the song “Head Carolina, Tails California” during the Top 10 round.
Tuesday night, the singers will learn if their performances met with the approval of America’s voters, or if they will be the next contestants that will not make it to the next stage of The Voice. The two with the lowest totals will be sent home.
Amber Carrington and Holly Tucker were in danger of going home last week, so they need to have great performances tonight or they might be the next ones eliminated.
