Phil birdied the 18th to finish at 3 under par.

Beginning the day, Lee Westwood had a two shot lead.  Hunter Mahan and Tiger Woods were in the chase.

Tiger continued to play poorly on the final day of a major.  (I predicted some time back that he will forever stay at 14 major wins.)

Woods was playing with Masters Champion Adam Scott, who took the lead from a sliding Westwood.

Mickelson, playing several holes ahead, continued to make great shots.  His final day tallied a 66.

Lefty is one of golf’s most popular players.  Today he won the British Open.
