On Monday, July 1, 2013, at approximately 11:30 P.M., officers responded to the area of 282 NE 54th Street, reference to a male shot. As officers arrived, a subject fitting the description of one of the offenders was seen fleeing the area. A perimeter was set up and subject #1 was apprehended.
According to the investigation, the subjects were looking to rob someone. They spotted the victim with a cell phone and immediately approached him. Subject #1 demanded the victim’s cell phone, while subject #2 held the victim at gunpoint. The victim resisted and was shot multiple times by subject #2.
Detectives are urging anyone with information on subject #2’s whereabouts to contact them. Investigation continues…

#2 B/M, thin built, 15-17 years of age (at large)
