Tragedy: Drowning Victim’s Family Needs Help with Funeral Costs (Update)

Lloyd N. Westbrook II’s funeral was held on Friday, July 12, 2012.

Lloyd (Mister) N. Westbrook II, age 27, drowned when he attempted to swim to a small island in the Snake River, during the 4th of July celebration on Snake River, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

As reported on Idaho Falls News Channel 8 site, after an hour of search and rescue efforts authorities decided to suspend the search and go on with the Freedom Celebration (fireworks) on the river.  The young man’s body was discovered after the fireworks were over about 1:10 am, in the river, not far from the celebration.

While this is devastating for the family, they are also struggling with funeral and burial costs because Mister did not have insurance.

If you would like to donate to assist with the costs, an account has been established at Wells Fargo to help raise funds for Mister’s funeral and burial costs.  The account number is 1166765386.

“We really appreciate all the love, concern and prayers extended to us during this time, words can’t explain the gratitude we feel,” said Loretta (Mister’s mom) and family.
