Wanted: Suspect for Theft from Auto in the 2nd District

Police report:

The Philadelphia Police Department is looking to identify the suspect for a theft from auto in Burholme.

On June 23, 2013, at 5:09am, the complainant parked her vehicle at 800 Cottman Avenue. While shopping inside a store the complainant left her purse inside her unlocked vehicle on the front seat. The suspect, who was sitting inside a mid 2000 4 door Cadillac, watched as the complainant went inside the store. The suspect then moves his vehicle next to the complainant’s vehicle and looks inside. The suspect then moves his vehicle a second time to the passenger side and opens the complainant’s door taking her purse then fled the area.

Suspect Description: White male, 30-40 years-of-age, bald head, stocky build, wearing shorts, t-shirt.

Vehicle Description: 2006-2008 tan colored Cadillac.
