Chicago: Suspect Wanted for Attempt Kidnapping

About This Crime

On Monday, August 12, 2013, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a 13-year-old female was exiting a store in the 2900 block of W. Madison. A male offender in a white conversion van yelled out “do you want some money.” The victim ignored the male driver and continued to walk home. The offender continued to follow the victim and again asked her if she wanted some money. The victim ran inside and alerted a family member. A witness reported last seeing the van northbound on California Avenue from Warren Blvd.

About the Offender

Male, white, described to be in his 60’s with short, curly, salt and pepper hair.
The offender had a lighter colored mustache and was wearing sunglasses.

Vehicle Used

A white colored conversion van with a ladder rack attached to the roof. No further information could be provided.
