Ellen DeGeneres has agreed to once more host the Academy Awards. She had rave reviews in 2007, and will host them again in 2014.
Just a short time ago, she tweeted; : ‘It’s official! I’m hosting the #Oscars! I’d like to thank @TheAcademy, my wife Portia and, oh dear, there goes the orchestra.”
Producers of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, officially announced the event.
“As a longtime friend, we had always hoped to find a project for us to do together and nothing could be more exciting than teaming up to do the Oscars,” they said in a statement.
The broadcast will be on March 2nd on ABC.
