A ferry carrying approximately 700 passengers collided with a cargo ship Friday morning in the Philippines. A rescue operation is underway.
The coast guard reported that the MV Thomas Aquinas began listing and started to sink immediately after impact with the ship.
Two rescue ships have been launched.
