According to reports, a Metro bus driver has been repeatedly fired upon in downtown Seattle, but managed to survive the shooting.
Messages were tweeted from the Seattle police officials, seemingly verifying the incident.
The event, which occurred in the proximity of Second Avenue and Seneca Street, ended shortly after the suspect fled the crime scene on foot. Attending police officers quickly located the suspect, before disabling the man using gunfire.
The 67-year-old driver was injured, but is not believed to be in critical condition. The suspect, on the other hand, has been described as severe, and is believed to have been taken to Harborview Medical Center.
