American entertainer Betty White has recently produced a promotional video for her upcoming Off Their Rockers television show. Any diehard Miley Cyrus fanatics will immediately appreciate the fellow celebrity figure White is attempting to emulate, as she unexpectedly swings in on an enormous wrecking ball.
Off Their Rockers is a brand new candid camera show, making its transition from NBC to Lifetime. Originally announced back in 2011, the program saw a series of geriatric citizens performing practical jokes on the unsuspecting masses of younger generations. As host of the show, White was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program, on two consecutive years.
The ‘Wrecking Ball’ Spoof
White begins her promo introduction, stating “I got some ideas from recent pop culture events that really got the kids talking.”
The longstanding entertainer tears into shot straddling a wrecking ball, debris flying in every direction, as she flashes the heartwarming Betty White smile that we all know and love. Unlike Miley Cyrus, White opts for the more demure approach and remains fully clothed throughout.
The video is, of course, a parody of Cyrus’ highly controversial Wrecking Ball single, which debuted Aug. 25, 2013, taken from her fourth album, Bangerz. The video was viewed an astounding 100 million times on VEVO, raising many eyebrows as she strutted around the rubble-strewn set naked.
During the latter stages of the spoof, White goes on to imitate Miley’s sordid sledgehammer-licking frenzy, again, with much more genteel decorum.
Betty White’s Career Highlights
The veteran actress and presenter has always been renowned for her comedic flair, starring in a number of high-profile sitcoms, including Ally McBeal, That ’70s Show, Joey and Malcolm in the Middle. Meanwhile, White has also recorded a series of hilarious voice overs for a wide array of animated television shows, from The Simpsons to Family Guy.
The 91-year-old sensation originally started life as a singer-cum-model, before commencing her illustrious career in acting. She landed her very first professional acting part at the
Bliss Hayden Little Theatre, before having to enlist in the American Women’s Voluntary Services during World War II.
Following a stint in radio, hosting The Betty White Show, she effortlessly transitioned to hosting live television, appearing alongside Al Jarvis on the variety show Hollywood on Television. Betty was soon to become lead host, adlibbing for many hours of television.
With her foot well and truly in the entertainment door, Betty went on to star in the sitcom Life With Elizabeth, The Betty White Show and Date with the Angels, during the 1950s. She then made similar comedy appearances in an array of 1970s sitcoms, most famously The Mary Tyler Moore Show, before her career experienced a resurgence with The Golden Girls in 1985.
Betty’s understated playful ridicule of Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball video, along with her antics at the Video Music Awards ceremony, shows the world the venerable comedienne has still got the magic, even after all these years.

When Donald Trump made Jerusalem captial of Israel in late December 2017, the Jewish people said this was a big step for them to build this Third Temple. They even printed a Temple coin with president Trump’s face on the front with king Cyrus'(the man who built the Second Temple in the Bible) face behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the Third Temple. They are selling these coins to raise money to build the Temple.
People have been saying for many years that the end is near, but we needed not only the Third Temple, but also the technology for there to be a cashless society for the Mark of the Beast to be a reality.
