Ashton Kutcher Won’t Take Any Moore

Ashton Kutcher has finalized his divorce from his wife Demi Moore. The celebrity couple were in 2005 which means the marriage lasted 8 years even though they had announced their separation 2 years ago. It is another Hollywood marriage that has ended up on the rocks.

The Two-And-A-Half-Men star is said to have made a bigger settlement than planned to pay off his ex-wife in a move to try and sort the issue out once and for all. Financial squabbles are said to have been holding up the divorce process for a while. Ashton Kutchercomes to the table with considerable financial worth being the highest paid actor on television having replaced Charlie Sheen on the sitcom Two-And-A-Half-Men, earning 750 thousand dollars for each episode. Demi Moore is however reported to be worth 150 million dollars which is very likely more than what Kutcher is worth.

Kutcher has been in a relationship with his That ‘70s Show co-star Mila Kunis. It now widely believed that Ashton plans to ask Mila to marry him.

A source close to both parties has been quoted as saying “Demi and Ashton’s divorce has cast a cloud over his and Mila’s relationship because it’s dragged on for so long. Thankfully Demi’s turned a corner. She’s no longer bitter and she wants the divorce over and done with as soon as possible so she can get on with her life too. Ashton Kutcher’s free to officially propose to Mila. Both of them want to marry and have children.”

Despite rumours of a bitter divorce battle between both stars, they were recently spotted at Burbank airport in California. This would suggest that the pair remain quite close friends.  The difficulty in their marriage did not look like something they both wanted. “As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life,” Demi had said at the time. “This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.” And in the wake of the announcement that they were breaking up, Ashton Kutcher had tweeted “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”

Demi Moore was previously married to action movie star Bruce Willis and rock legend Freddy Moore. This will be her third divorce though it is Kuthcher’s first. Demi has also been said to now be dating Australian Will Hanigan. Demi Moore is rumoured to be also be seeing Peter Morton the owner and founder of Hard Rock Cafe who is a 66-year-old man. Ashton Kutcher is just 34 years old, well younger than Moore as is Hanigan. Their marriage had been something of a ‘us against the world’ statement with many eyebrows being raised at such age difference.
