As part of the celebrations for her 21st birthday, Miley Cyrus is being given the controls for MTV. It’s only for a day, though, and will start from noon Eastern time today. She will finish as 8pm EST, in time to go out, party and celebrate her coming of age in style—well, her style.
The start and end of Cyrus’ airtime will be 21 Candles: Miley’s MTV Moments, which is a countdown of all the events that have gotten her to where she is today. Some of those have to include her dad’s career and her role in Disney’s Hannah Montana, which gave her the platform to boost her career.
Cyrus is not the first Disney star to gain a career from a TV show on the channel. Before her was Hilary Duff with Lizzie McGuire, which saw the teen shoot from TV to movies in a matter of years. The difference between the two girls is that Duff seems to have kept her nose clean during her stardom.
In 2010, Cyrus made it clear that she wanted to step away from the innocent look when she finished Hannah Montana and released her album, Can’t be Tamed. The first single, named the same as the album, had her dancing provocatively in a cage. Even the album’s front cover made it clear with the black leather and showing midriff.
It’s amazing just how young Cyrus is. You would be forgiven for expecting her to be much older. Within the 21 years that she has been alive, she’s accomplished much more than most people dream of in their lifetimes, such as being on the Top 100 list for Forbes from 2010 onwards. She has already been engaged—and now back to being single—and has rocked some of the biggest songs around.
As part of her control of MTV for her 21st birthday, Cyrus will apologise for the lies that she told some years ago. During Miley Cyrus 2008: To Tatt or Not to Tatt?, she told viewers that she was scared of needles and would probably never had a tattoo done. Of course, jump forward five years and she definitely has plenty of them and she knew that she would get them. Back in 2008, she had a reputation to protect—more like Disney had a reputation for her that they needed to protect.
After her MTV performance, she will definitely be hitting the party scene. It’s likely that she will drink plenty, despite having an American Music Awards performance to do the next day. It is a performance that she has been working on for some time.
Cyrus is not the only young star turning 21 over the next few months. Some of the others include Kristen Stewart and fellow Disney star, Selena Gomez. However, it is unlikely that any others will get full control of MTV for eight hours, like Cyrus will as a present for her 21st birthday. It is now a question of just how the eight hour slot will go.

They deny Jesus as their Messiah and say their Messiah will be revealed to rule the whole world under a one world religion. They are not even hiding this information, but are actually promoting it. When Donald Trump made Jerusalem captial of Israel in late December 2017, the Jewish people said this was a big step for them to build this Third Temple. They even printed a Temple coin with president Trump’s face on the front with king Cyrus'(the man who built the Second Temple in the Bible) face behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the Third Temple. They are selling these coins to raise money to build the Temple.
People have been saying for many years that the end is near, but we needed not only the Third Temple, but also the technology for there to be a cashless society for the Mark of the Beast to be a reality.
