iPhone 6: The Rumors, Speculations, and Projected Release Date

iPhone 6: The Rumors, Speculations, and Projected Release DateWhen discussing one the largely anticipated iPhone 6, Apple CEO Tim Cook dodged all question regarding the matter with his promise of “great things.” Cook further elaborated by stating, “There are a lot of things to look forward to in 2014, which includes huge plans that we think that customers are going to love.”

While news of the new iPhone 6 has many eagerly awaiting its arrival, more rumors and speculations have formulated in regards to the newest addition in the Apple family. First and foremost, it is believed that Apple will launch two versions of the phone, with one having a screen size of 4.7 in., and the other having a screen size of 5.5 in. It is believed that this was done in response in customer’s demand of an iPhone with a larger screen. In addition, this new phone is expected to be made out of Liquidmetal, which is lighter than that of the aluminum design that is currently used with the iPhone 5S.

What’s more, the rumor mill is flooded with talk of how thin the iPhone 6 will be. It has been reported the iPhone 6 will only be 6 milometers thick.  In regard to this matter, sources from Korea report has been working hard on its innovative iteration of a smart phone that they have nicknamed “the iPhone Air.” It is also very likely that Apple is working on improvements in the department of the iPhone’s camera, as it has been suggested that Apple will either upgrade 8MP or 13MP rear camera. Furthermore, it is rumored that the resolution output of the iPhone 6 will be 1600 x 900, an upgrade that would dramatic increase both the phone’s clarity and sharpness. Further speculation has suggested a curved model; however, considering how the new phone is reported to be larger and thinner, this is very unlikely. This new iPhone doesn’t compare to the likes of other phones projected to come out this year, at it has already been listed as the number one top smartphones for 2014.

As for the release of the new iPhone 6, there are many conflicting rumors as to when the phone will be released. There is speculation that the iPhone 6 may be released sometime during the second quarter of this year, with an emphasis around May or June. However, extensive reports have suggested that it is more likely that the release will take place in the third quarter of this year, with a projection date of sometime during the month of September. With all of the expected advancements in the phones technology, the likelihood a third quarter release date is considerably more probable, especially when taking into consideration that doing so would almost mirror the September release date of the previous iPhone. Regardless of whether or not the phone releases in either Summer of this year or in September, it can be expected that it will be a highly demanded item as usual. In the meantime, the rumor mill will continue to be buzzing in anticipation of Apple’s newest iPhone.

In regard to the cost of iPhone 6, it is likely that the price will be in the same ballpark of the previous model of iPhones. However, the fact that the screen may be larger and thinner suggests that there may be an additional cost for the iPhone 6.

Well i think these high prices they never get to sell a lot at first. but apple should give poor people a chance to be able to buy good phones. why would people want to go out and pay 6to 8hundred dollars for a phone. apple does not give a poor person a decented chance to be able to get a good phone. well if it isnt apple who ever it is trying to get rich off people. have u ever thought a low price would sell 10 to 100 times more and faster u should try it just to see how many u could sell at a decient price to compare to jump into a fortune at one time if i could i could double selling at a low price then u could at what u are going to charge.

Let’s grow up and fix the things we should (like the ignorance) instead of criticizing everything 😉 I appreciate your time for the article and all other writers, thank you guys for having us common people informed! 🙂

It’s difficult to take this article seriously. My 5th grade child makes less spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors than the author of this article.
