In Dallas, Texas, a Judge orders the life support to be removed from a pregnant brain-dead woman. The pregnant woman’s family had fought for her to be placed on life support due to the fact that she is carrying a “distinctly abnormal” fetus. the woman is considered medically dead, but speculations arise in decision to keep her on support for the unborn baby. The attorneys in the case had released statements regarding the condition of the fetus, which is at approximately twenty-two weeks old, describing the fetus to be “distinctly abnormal” after examining medical records.
