SeahawksThe Seattle Seahawks will try to block San Francisco 49ers fans from attending the NFC Championship game by denying them the ability to purchase tickets to the game via the team’s website. If you have a Californian billing address do not try to buy a ticket through the team, they will not sell one to you. The Seahawks will block all ticket orders that come from customers who do not have a billing address in WA, MT, OR, ID, HI or AK. Billing addresses in the Canadian provinces British Columbia and Alberta will also be honored.

There are other ways for 49ers fans to acquire tickets to the game. They can purchase tickets on second hand sites such as the NFL Ticket Exchange and Stub Hub.

The two teams are big rivals and clearly do not enjoy the others prescience all that much. Seattle is thought to have one of the best home environments for football in the entire league. Their fan section is called the “12th Man,” and coupled with a stingy defense makes winning in Seattle very difficult. The Seahawks are 7-1 this season at home, their only loss coming against the Cardinals. They beat the 49ers handedly last time the two teams met in Seattle, but the 49ers won their last match-up which was in San Francisco.

The NFC Championship Game between the Seahawks and the 49ers will take place on Sunday, January 19th at 3:30 PM Pacific Time and will certainly be a tough environment for the visitors since their fans will be blocked from buying tickets by Seattle.

The Seahawks beat the New Orleans Saints on Saturday to advance. They were led by their star running back Marshawn Lynch who rushed for 140 yards and scored two touchdowns. Drew Brees and the Saint’s offense were mostly held in check. They did not allow the Saints to score in the first half and allowed only 15 points the entire game.

The 49ers beat Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers in backyard brawl today that saw lots of on field fights. The 49ers won 23-10 in Carolina against a team they had not had much success against during the season.

The 49ers are entering their third straight NFC Championship Game. Last year they went to the Super Bowl where they lost to Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens.

“Last year, we got a taste of what the Super Bowl was like. We had an entrée that we didn’t get to eat. This time, we want to finish the plate,” pro-bowl linebacker Ahmad Brooks said about this years 49ers team.

Sunday’s match-up promises to be an exciting match-up between two teams that have great defenses and run the ball incredibly well. The weather in Seattle was an issue on Saturday but next weekends forecast promises fairly suitable conditions.

It will definitely be loud in Seattle on Sunday, as it has been all year, especially since their will not be many California residents as the Seattle Seahawks attempt to block 49ers fans from coming to the game by restricting their ability to buy tickets on the teams website.
