Selena Gomez in Good Spirits

Prior to having an alleged trespasser on her property, sources report Selena Gomez is in good spirits. An Arizona man was arrested Saturday for suspicion of trespassing at the home of the pop star. Los Angeles police received a 911 call Saturday morning reporting an intruder at Gomez’s home on Wells Drive in Tarzana. According to a police spokesperson the suspect, Juan Daniel Garcia was taken into custody. At this time reports are unclear if Gomez was home at the time of the alleged intrusion. Sources say the suspect is not the same person arrested for stalking Gomez in 2011.

Demi Lovato also attested to Gomez’s positive disposition. Lovato spoke with Ryan Seacrest Friday on his show On Air With Ryan Seacrest and stated Gomez is doing well. She also said they are close and Gomez confided in Lovato. Sources say Gomez and Lovato grabbed dinner in West Hollywood on Thursday, January 23, after Justin Bieber’s DUI arrest in Miami.

Sources state Gomez is in good spirits despite Bieber’s troubles. The 21-year-old singer and actress hung out at the Belaso Theater for a Beats Music Launch Party in Los Angeles Friday night. Gomez arrived with her Spring Breakers costar Ashley Benson around 10:40 P.M. The duo sat in the VIP area and posed for photographs. Other famous stars such as Sir Paul McCartney, Macklemore and Jimmy Lovine were also in the VIP area anticipating musical performances by Dr. Dre, Eminem, Sean “Diddy” Combs and more.

Gomez has recently graced the cover of the March issue of Seventeen magazine and she also expressed in an interview how she feels powerful. She admitted she had always been the underdog secretly and questioned the way she looked, acted, sang and wrote. The pop singer explains while success hasn’t come easy for her, it has been rewarding. Gomez further explains she works a lot and gets tired. But when she walks onstage and see fans in the audience waiting to see her, Gomez describes it as the greatest thing in the world.

Reportedly Gomez still cares about Bieber. Gomez mentions people will experience uncomfortable situations as part of life and he or she hopes to come out the other side a stronger person. She will always care about Bieber and her instinct has been to protect him from harm. Gomez also adds despite what Bieber is going through, she wants to see him come out the other side stronger.

According to reports Bieber is also doing well since posting bail. The pop star waved to fans while sitting on top of an SUV after being discharged from jail Thursday afternoon. He later compared himself to Michael Jackson by posting their pictures side-by-side on Instagram. In January 2004, Jackson also waved to his fans as he was released from jail after pleading not guilty in child molestation charges. The following night the Boyfriend singer tweeted to his fans on Twitter. Bieber told his fans they are all worthy regardless of what anyone says. He encouraged them to be strong because God is with them all and he will forever be grateful. Since then Bieber left Miami and is now in Panama.

Although Gomez had an alleged trespasser on her property and her ex-boyfriend Bieber was arrested for DUI and drag racing, sources say she is in good spirits.
