Harold Ramis who was one of Hollywood’s iconic comedy stars and filmmakers, has died today at the age of 69 from health complications at his home. He is best known for his role as Egon Spangler in “Ghostbusters”; however, he was also a well-known producer of other comic hits like “Groundhog Day” and “Analyze This.”
Ramis was surrounded by loved ones in his North Shore home when he passed away from complications due to a rare disease called autoimmune inflammatory vasculitis. He was 69 years old.
