Miley Cyrus has continuously been on news for the past few months due to her appalling and controversial behavior. Now, it seems that the media is yet not ready to leave the teen idol alone. Currently the story that is doing the rounds talks about an alleged link-up between Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber.
Life & Style, a widely read US magazine delivering celebrity gossip and entertainment news accused the Adore You singer of link-ups with Bieber. The magazine reported that Cyrus spent some intimate moments with Bieber at an event last year; and all this happened while the Canadian pop singer was still dating Selena Gomez.
The story was accompanied by a photo of Bieber and Cyrus posing together closely. The caption of the photo was striking enough to catch the attention of the readers; its first three words read: “The Ultimate Betrayal.”
The publication also claimed that Gomez had appointed her best buddies Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato for extracting revenge on Cyrus for hitting upon Bieber, who was Gomez’s boyfriend at that time. According to the magazine, Gomez has no doubt that Bieber was dating Cyrus behind her back, in 2013.
Miley Cyrus however has spoken out against the story of her romantic link-ups with Justin Bieber while he was still with Selena Gomez. The 21-year old singer took to her Twitter page for refuting the photo’s authenticity.
She claimed that the picture was taken at the birthday party of producer Pharrell, an event where Bieber was not present. So, according to her, the image on Life & Style is a photo-shopped work.
The year 2013 saw Rolling Stone magazine doing a cover story on Cyrus where she talked about serving Bieber as his mentor. She said that as a result of being almost of same ages (Cyrus is 21 and Bieber will soon be 20) she never wants to wear the hat of a mentor for Bieber. However, she has also stated clearly that what she does for the Canadian pop star is nothing but mentoring.
The special issue of Rolling Stone also saw Cyrus quoting that she has tasted stardom since a very young age and that she has now successfully transitioned with time. However, she feels that although the Bad Day singer is not quite done yet, he is truly trying hard.
In the interview, Cyrus also spoke openly about Bieber’s immaturity. She even said that as boys tend to stay 7 years behind time, Bieber currently has a brain and maturity level of a 12-year-old.
These comments made the fans of the Canadian singer, better known as “Beliebers” furious. Cyrus had to take to twitter for clarifying her views about Bieber saying that she will always root for Justin Bieber.
When Bieber re-tweeted the message from Cyrus it was clear that all is well between the two singers. Hopefully, Twitter will play the role of an extinguisher this time as well. Miley Cyrus has already posted her clarification about the story of her link-up with Justin Bieber, now it’s time to wait and watch the actions of the other characters in the story.
