Fairley High School in Memphis is currently on lock down when a sixteen-year-old student was found with a gun. In light of yesterday’s shooting deputies are performing searches and found the gun in the student’s backpack.
Deputies received a tip that the student was carrying a gun on campus and when they searched the sixteen year the found an unloaded .22 revolver along with some ammunition.
The teen was taken to juvenile court and is being charged with carrying a weapon on school property.
