Lindsay Lohan Letting Oprah Winfrey Down?

Lindsay LohanIt seems that Lindsay Lohan is letting Oprah Winfrey down, and the question is whether anybody is surprised. The 27-year-old told the talk show host that she has not been putting herself in situations that will affect her sobriety. However, she has been going to nightclubs, after being spotted at the Dream Hotel’s Electric Room.

Of course, that does not mean that she is drinking. According to reports, she did not touch a drop of alcohol while there. That is a good thing in itself, but it shows that the star has lied to Winfrey and there are now questions of how much else she has lied about.

During the most recent episode of the show, Lohan told Winfrey that she wanted to remain sober. It is her sixth attempt at rehab, and she wants it to work out this time. Winfrey wants the same, and has vowed to help her as much as she can, even now that the cameras have stopped rolling. However, in that same episode, the Mean Girls actress also said that she was not putting herself in “stupid situations.” This included clubbing, where many temptations were around her.

According to a source close to the actress, she has been attended the hotel to talk about her sobriety, something that she really likes doing. Maybe she has found that sharing her own struggles helps others, and it is worth remaining sober just for that. While going to the clubs could seem like letting Winfrey down, it could be helping Lohan learn to deal with the temptations around her to really take control of her addictions.

The same source has also shared that the Freaky Friday star has been ignoring some of the 60-year-old’s calls. Winfrey is trying as much as possible to make sure the actress remains sober. The 27-year-old believes that she has a handle on the situation and no longer needs the talk show host’s help at times.

Many people have questioned whether the decision to do her own reality show was just a way for Lohan to get back in the limelight. In an upcoming episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actress explains how it was a way to get back into some type of routine and feel like she was working. A routine is important to help battle her addiction and get back on the right track.

During the interview, she will explain just how difficult her reality show was. At times she felt overwhelmed. This was clear on Lindsay just last week, where she decided to lock the camera crew out of her apartment. It led to Winfrey going in to talk to the actress and give her the intervention she really needed at the time.

So far, the Mean Girls star seems to have remained on track with her sobriety, but only time will tell. The last stint in rehab marks the sixth attempt to get clean, and Ellen DeGeneres has not let her forget about that. Winfrey really wants to see Lohan succeed, and there is hope that will ensure the 27-year-old does not let her down.
