Stacy Keibler is pregnant, and she is still the ex-girlfriend of George Clooney. The news was announced by Keibler’s publicist Pearl Savat. The child, due this summer, will be the first of the one-time wrestler turned model and her husband Jared Pobre. The news is hitting the headlines of the entertainment press and the name George Clooney is as much a feature of the headlines as Keibler’s.
Keibler has been quite the fixture in the entertainment news headlines recently. Just a few weeks ago, Keibler married entrepreneur Jared Pobre March 8 on a private beach in Mexico. The couple had only been dating for a few months, but had known each other for five years.
The event, like Keibler’s pregnancy, was noteworthy for who she was than for who she is. Keibler’s status as the former girlfriend of George Clooney catapulted the former wrestler and model into the upper ranks of the celebrity world. Being on the arm of the Oscar-winning actor at red carpet events all over the world earned her plenty of front covers and became the talk of entertainment columns. And she is still getting them now, despite her relationship with Clooney ending in July 2013, after two years.
What Clooney saw in the dynamic model is easy to see. Keibler became famous as a wrestler when she competed in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1999. She went on to wrestle in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) from 2001 to 2006, and she made another appearance in 2011.
The star is not just famous for her skills in the wrestling ring. In addition to modeling, Keibler’s dancing skills made her a household name when she competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2006. She has also appeared in How I Met Your Mother and Chuck, among other television shows. In addition, she is presenter on a Lifetime show called Supermarket Superstar.
But while Stacy Keibler being pregnant may be hitting the headlines, those same headlines will not forget that Kiebler is Clooney’s ex. After all, it was Clooney who turned Keibler into an A-lister. And Keiber is smart enough about the entertainment industry to build on the fame she gained from dating the former E.R. star.
The media-savvy Keibler posted a picture of a bun in an oven on Instagram. The star asked readers to look at what she has cooking before informing them it is “a Bun’dle of love!” Keibler is no stranger to making public statements about her love. She and her husband were vocal about how much they loved each other to various entertainment magazines and no doubt, the love they feel for their upcoming baby will also be appearing on many a front page.
Meanwhile, Clooney, who made Keibler famous for being his girlfriend and then his ex, may or may not have heard the news she is pregnant. The Academy Award-winning actor and producer is currently on safari in Tanzania with new girlfriend Amal Alamuddin. Perhaps, in a couple of years, the public will be reading about how much another Clooney ex loves her new husband or is pregnant. Or maybe Alamuddin will be the one who really hits the headlines with Clooney–by becoming none other than Mrs. George Clooney herself.

Well??? Dosen’t take a genius to figure out why Stacy married so quickly, or does it? I have a small gut feeling that the baby is GEORGE’s , The guy she married is a cover, and I think Stacy really wanted a baby, and because of the baby, they broke up. I was very saddened by the remarks that came from GEORGE about his past girlfriends, insulting them, their jobs, and their mentality. How could a man of such standing make remarks that would not only demean the girls, but himself?I have had to take a step backwards and rethink how I feel about Looney (oops, I meant CLOONEY) now.
I am glad Stacy moved on, I am proud of her becausee George does not know what he wants in in a woman. He is a confirm bachelor. I think out of all of George’s girls, Stacy was the smartest and managed to not be discarded like a dishrag – she actually got something out of it – – a lucrative career and some fame of her own. Nice….
