The phytonutrients in fruits and veggies activate a class of enzymes called sirtuins. The grape skin extract Transmax-resveratrol, which is produces as a dietary supplement is a much more potent activatior of these beneficial enzymes. Dr Sonclair at Harvard was the first scientist to prove that Transmax increased lifespan in animals and prevented the chronic diseases associated with the ageing process. Pharmas would prefer that you focus on treatment, not on chemopreventatives such as Transmax and other nutrients. This is a corrupt and irresponsible anti-health strategy that benefits the drug companies but not the patient.
