Game of Thrones Not Short on Talent with Peter Dinklage

The hot series Game of Thrones is full of action and suspense, leaving the viewer yearning for more with each passing episode.  The ongoing saga has spectators glued to their television sets, waiting and wondering what will happen next. The HBO series has captured audiences for four seasons with a dramatic fantasy story line and talent gleaned from the actors who have portrayed each character in realistic form. Much success has been bestowed by faithful followers of Game of Thrones, as it is not short on talent with Peter Dinklage.

Dinklage has been on the set from day one, portraying Tyrion Lannister, a key player in the series. He is joined by the likes of Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Charles Dance and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau plus many, many more. The team of players have made the series a popular show over the years with the most talented Dinklage as a headliner.

As Tyrion Lannister uses his silver tongue with wit and charm to persuade the forces at bay to reconcile and merge into unity after strife, the dwarf will not be outdone. Avoiding prejudice in size, his mental prowess and quick attitude employs the multitudes to follow. Dinklage has done much the same in his own life and is finally reaping the benefits of his craft.

Always shining above his four foot five inch frame, Dinklage is ambitious when accepting new roles in show business. It is not just about the height, but about the talent. He will not jive with the usual short jokes as he stands his ground and proceeds to the best role he can accomplish. Accomplishing has not been a problem for Dinklage as he has studied his craft diligently and can deliver a spectacular character.

Growing up in New Jersey, Dinklage was born with a form of dwarfism, called achondroplasia. He dealt with it through anger and regret for awhile, but rose above the stereotype most people think of. With some limitations, it is not a hindering disability some cast to the wind. Dinklage has achieved above and beyond the status quo. With encouragement from family and friends, along with his realistic attitude, Dinklage has turned his lot in life into a successful acting career.

Dinklage has appeared in numerous films such as Elf, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, A Little Bit of Heaven, and Ice Age: Continental Drift. Also making appearances in television, Dinklage has honed himself both in stature and talent. The ratings have held a place with Dinklage in such TV shows as Nip/Tuck, Entourage and 30 Rock.

Not giving into stereotypes, Dinklage has made a name for himself along the way. He has survived rat-infested apartments with no heat or amenities and has learned to deal with comments concerning his size. He is a man with ambition, talent and drive and by now starring in a well-known series, Dinklage has truly arrived.

Dinklage has paid his dues and has lived the life to get where he now plays key roles with ease. It is not just luck, it is hours of hard work and patience. Game of Thrones is not short on talent with the cast and Dinklage plays a most beloved character. Winning an Emmy and a Golden Globe award for his supporting role in the series, his lot in life and on the stage has spoken for itself.
