As Kim Kardashian’s wedding day approaches everyone wants to know who is going to be there, who was invited but has kindly declined and who got snubbed all together. The big day is set for May 24 in Paris though some are wondering if the actual wedding is really planned for the day before and that the date of May 24 is a ruse to trick the paparazzi. Whenever the real day, the wedding list has partially been leaked so here is a sneek peak at Kim Kardashian and Kanye Wests’s wedding list; who is definitely attending, who declined and who got snubbed.
Attendees are Jay Z even though wife, Beyonce has not yet confirmed whether the Single Ladies singer will be with her husband or not. Rumors traveled around in the past months that Kim had asked Beyonce to be the maid of honor but flat out refused. Kanye and Jay Z are good friends but that doesn’t mean Beyonce has to be besties with Kim. Rachel Roy, who is the alleged reason for the infamous Jay Z and Solange Knowles elevator brawl, will be in attendance. Singer/songwriter JohnLegend and supermodel wife, Chrissy Teigen will be a show for the couple’s nuptials. Larsen Pippen, wife of basketball player Scottie Pippen, and La La Anthony, wife of basketball star Carmelo Anthony, are both attending and have already arrived in Paris to party with Kim at the bachelorette party. Famous tennis star, Serena Williams is also attending.
Personal trainer to Khloe Kardashian and brother Rob is also in attendance. Rob Kardashian who is still battling with his weight almost did not want to go to the wedding at all. The troubled television personality admitted that he felt his weight was causing him to be the black sheep of the family and that he would rather just lock himself up from the world while he struggles to deal with his personal issues. However, mom Kris Jenner would have none of that and the two were seen together leaving Los Angeles a few days ago, headed for Paris.
Lorraine Schwartz, jeweler, is attending and also was the co-host at Kim’s bachelorette party. Joe Francis, Girls Gone Wild creator and girlfriend, Abbey Wilson are going to be a show as will stylists for the stars, Jen Atkin, Chris McMillan and Q-Tip. Of course a wedding would not be the same without BFF’s and Kim’s will be there. Jonathan Cheban, Malika Haqq, Shelli Azoff, Simon Huck and Brittny Gastineau will be at the much talked about event. Tyga will be there as will video-girl Blac Chyna.
Brody Jenner has declined to attend the wedding when his invitation did not include his girlfriend, US Weekly reported. Also Kris Jenner’s younger sister, Karen Houghton, will not be attending. Kim’s aunt said that she had already been to both of Kim’s previous weddings and has already been to Paris so is not going to be there. Even though Kim called Houghton to say that they would buy the plane ticket, Aunt Karen still declined as Houghton’s mind is more on the safety of her home. Living in San Diego, Houghton is concerned about the wildfires in the area. Vogue editor, Anna Wintour was invited but declined but Andre Leon Talley, Vogue’s contributing editor, will attend.
Demi Lavoto, Mel B and Avril Lavigne were invited to Kim’s last wedding but not to this one. Lindsay Lohan, who arrived at Kim’s last wedding in a low-cut white dress, surprisingly did not receive an invite. American Idol host and producer of Keeping Up With the Kardashians never got an invite either and Oprah seems to have been snubbed altogether.
For a such a lavish wedding that is taking place in such an extravagant setting, you would think the guest list would be a little more flashy. After all, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are both over-the-top kind of people so this wedding list sneak peek is more than disappointing. When they do something, the couple does it big so what is the deal with the very unimpressive guest list? Maybe most of them are tired of seeing Kim walk down the aisle or maybe they simply don’t know what to get a girl who is marrying for the third time. Either way, the wedding will be fabulous for sure and as long as family and friends are there, who could ask for anything more?
