Keeping Up With the Kardashians Struggling With the Ratings

Keeping Up With the Kardashians

Keeping Up With the Kardashians seems to be struggling with its ratings at the moment, hinting that the show could soon be taken off the air. Is it possible that the Kardashian siblings are no longer as popular as they once were?

The last time the show received a record number of viewers was in 2009, when Kim Kardashian married her second husband, Kris Humphries. That episode drew in 4.1 million people, but the latest episode drew in just two million. It would either suggest that people are just bored, or people just like to watch weddings.

It may not help that this latest season has been about the lead up to Kim and Kanye West’s big celebrity wedding, but fans know that the wedding will not actually be shown. There are rumors that the two have agreed to a two-episode special for their extravagant European event, so it seems pointless for some to watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Viewers certainly do seem to want a reason to watch the show, instead of just seeing the latest drama going on in the family. Last year saw a spike due to West and Kardashian finding out the gender of their baby, which led to a three million viewership. After that, there was a decline all the way until the end of the season.

Despite Keeping Up With the Kardashians struggling with the ratings, it seems like the show is going to get a 10th season. Kardashian and Bruce Jenner have both implied this, and the show is the most watched out of all those on E! It would seem silly for the network to drop it, even if it just drop below the 1.5 million mark for overall viewers by the end of this season.

The question is whether people really want to see yet another season. Is there anything new to keep watching, or has the family milked it for all it is worth. It is not like all of them will struggle afterwards. Kardashian has her own business—and a rich husband to lean on—while her sisters Kourtney and Khloe have other reality shows and ventures on the cards. Even the Jenner sisters, Kylie and Kendall, have other options at the moment.

It seems like the family need to find a way to get people watching again. They need to give people a reason to tune in, whether it is using the Kardashian-West wedding, or Kourtney’s baby and her drama with boyfriend Scott Disick.

Some of the family members are not worried, even if it does end with its current season. Kim Kardashian recently admitted that her priorities had changed recently. She wants to focus more time on her daughter, and as long as North is OK then everything else is. However, that does not mean she wants the show to end, but that she will be happy with a decision either way. She loves sharing her life with her fans, but it looks like fans do not love seeing it anymore. Keeping Up With the Kardashians is struggling with its ratings, and only time will tell if it can recover.

The Kardashian’s start a huge community garden & use excess produce to feed those in need or something that makes ones heart sing, instead of dragging humanity down with self obsession.

Why do some people (granted, not that many) worship these people. Homestly, you’re all sick in the head. This broad is famous for banging a mongrel on tape. Look up to people that actually have talent. I mean real talent, not actresses and actors, or even sports stars. Talent of the brain, intelligence, people that help mankind. Look up to those people. The Kardashians are faker than a million dollar bill.

Why is everyone so down on the show? Ratings have done OK, about 2.2 million for the first two episodes. That’s not bad, still the best on E!. Comparing it now to the highest show it’s had is sort of silly, don’t you think? All shows that have been around for a while go through something similar. As long as the ratings don’t drop too much, which they haven’t, and the family wants to continue doing it, the show will continue. Stop the negativity already!! Of course, it’s the press, you people always treat Kim and company with disdain.

You should go to Amazon. I’m not sure if they have the new episodes, but I know the old ones are on there. At least through season 9.

We are tired of the Kardashian “drama”. I am sure we can get real people with less drama for a new reality show. There are so many human beings that will do a 100% better job than the Kardashians. Just give other people a chance; the Kardashians curse too much and expose themselves too much. This is a show that should end as soon as possible.
Kim’s curves are fake and anyone could look good with plastic surgery. What a shame to have them continue with their show. PLEASE, PLS, PLS, BRING A NEW SHOW SO I CAN CLICK ON E! AGAIN! tHANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
