Jeremy Meeks became an internet sensation when his “hot” mugshot surfaced all around social media websites within just a couple of hours. Those who viewed his apparent flawless picture disregarded that he is an alleged felon facing multiple gang-related charges. Surprisingly though, Jeremy Meeks’ hot mugshot has now landed him a hefty modeling offer in California.
The blue-eyed, dark-skinned, 30-year-old bad boy first had his mugshot surface the internet earlier in June. The mugshot was posted on a police Facebook website and has found itself being viewed on laptops and smartphones all over the country. After approximately 89,000 Facebook “shares” since the release of his photo, one set of eyes became especially interested in Jeremy Meeks.
Gina Rodriguez of Los Angeles has become Jeremy Meeks’ new modeling agent. As his new agent, Rodriguez has landed Jeremy Meeks a pricey modeling offer resulting from the release of his hot mugshot from early June. Meeks has become the newest model for L.A.’s modeling agency, Blaze Modelz. It is reported that he was offered a $30,000 deal to model the prestigious Tom Ford brand in his trial that is set for later this week. Meeks will appear in court in a Tom Ford suit and tie. His trial date has been scheduled for July 8.
If released from jail, Jeremy Meeks could make up to $30,000 a month with his pending modeling career. This monthly amount could increase as Rodriguez is currently working on more offers for the alleged felon. Until then, his orange prison jumpsuits will be replaced by Tom Ford suits at the San Joaquin County Courthouse.
Rodriguez has represented various faces in Hollywood. Those who have had modeling contracts through Rodriguez include the Octomom and Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham. Currently, Rodriguez is working on making deals with four different production companies, as well as three modeling agencies for Meeks. She is determined to land more modeling offers for Jeremy Meeks as his hot mugshot became an internet sensation.
Jeremy Meeks has a reputation for being a violent criminal in the Stockton, California area. It is alleged that he was once a gang member for the Northside Gangster Crips gang in one of California’s most prominent gang-populated neighborhoods. Meeks was arrested for five weapons charges and two offences for gang raids. His mother, Katherine Angier insists that her son is innocent. She stated that her son traded the dangerous Stockton gang life for a better life when he met his wife six years ago. The couple since then started a family and have been attempting to provide a ‘normal’ life for their children.
Katherine Angier reported that she believes her son was arrested due to being an easy target to the police officers that handled his initial arrest. Jeremy Meeks has countless visible tattoos relating to Stockton’s Northside Gangster Crips gang. A large ‘NC,’ short for Northside Crips, is tattooed on the front of his neck, as well as a teardrop under his left eye. The teardrop is a well-known symbol for either killing someone or doing time in jail.
Jeremy Meeks, an alleged felon facing gang-related charges, became an internet sensation within hours. Despite his felony record, he has gained thousands of fans throughout the nation, as well as a modeling agent.
