The on again off again love affair between Justin Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez has just seen its latest turn. The couple, who recently reconciled, is apparently at odds. Rumors swirled this weekend about Bieber’s reported decision to stay in Miami with friends as well as the company of other women, instead of his love interest. However, it turns out Selena Gomez rejected an invite to spend time with Justin Bieber and reportedly told him to “get lost” on July 4.
The 20-year-old Canadian singer then decided to go to Miami and party. Bieber was spotted partying shirtless on a Miami yacht. Pictures of the him hit the internet quickly, as the pop sensation entertained the company of “scantily clad” women and drank what appeared to be a corona beer. Despite the fact that the legal age for drinking alcohol is 21, the alcohol was provided to Bieber. According to sources two “heavily muscled men” were seen wheeling cases of Corona to the yacht where the troubled star resided. Bieber is no stranger to underaged drinking. The indecent comes nearly six months after Bieber was charged and arrested with a DUI in Miami. The controversial scene also included him drag racing in his yellow Lamborghini before authorities stepped in to stop him.
The woman found in the passenger’s seat the night of the incident was Chantal Jeffries. Jeffries has been linked with Bieber and has dated a number of celebrities, including Washington Redskins football player Desean Jackson and Justin Combs. The 21-year-old Jeffries has recently resurfaced in Bieber’s life, which has left many to speculate the two are romantically involved. Jeffries is most well-known for being a curvaceous model from Jacksonville, Florida. She has also recently modeled for Basketball Wives LA star Draya Michelle’s Mint Swim collection. Reports have indicated Jeffries and Bieber are having fun but are not getting lost in the land of love, as he has already stated that Selena Gomez is the women the he wants to marry.
Multiple media outlets have established a claim that Bieber recently proposed to Gomez. Upon reconciliation, the proposal was initially rejected by the Come and Get It singer. In order for this proposition to go through, Bieber would need to show that he can be faithful to his longtime girlfriend. The highly controversial singer has had a well documented history of cheating on Gomez. This behavior has contributed to a constant state of flux in the couple’s tumultuous relationship. The most recent spat comes at a critical time in Gomez’s life.
The former Disney star has seen her music and acting career come to a halt. Gomez is repeatedly losing a battle with stress. The Grapevine Texas product endured two weeks at the Dawn of Meadows Rehabilitation facility. Her family hid the stint from the public but Gomez became candid once rumors became rampant that the singer was dealing with substance abuse problems. There has been no confirmation as to whether she has a drug problem, but fans were alerted by Gomez that the cause of the rehab stint was due to “stress and anxiety” issues. It is unclear what the future has in store for the highly scrutinized couple but Gomez’s family reportedly wants no part of Bieber. After telling her lover to “get lost” and turning down his proposal, it is difficult to determine if Selena Gomez is serious still serious about being with Justin Bieber.
