Boko Haram

Reports from BBC News are stating suspected Boko Haram gunmen attacked the town of Damboa in the north eastern part of Nigeria. According to the BBC,  eyewitnesses said half the town was burnt down, even the main marketplace area. Many are feared dead.

The attack may have started Thursday night according to a resident, and lasted until the early hours of the morning.

More news is developing on this story. The news comes just after Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau sent a video to a French news agency claiming to have been responsible for attacks in Lagos and Abuja in Nigeria.
