Doylestown, Pennsylvania School District Superintendent David P. Weitzel issued a statement Thursday cancelling the remainder of the football season for the Central Bucks West High School due to an investigation of hazing incidents allegedly occurring on October 14. The incident in question involved new members of the football team being forced to participate in initiation rituals which were described as “humiliating” and “inappropriate.” Members of the coaching staff have been suspended as a result of the investigations as well.
