Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department in conjunction with the Greater Atlanta Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the suspects in a robbery. A reward of up to $2,000 is offered in exchange for information which leads to an arrest and charges filed.

The robbery occurred on Oct. 21, 2014, in an apartment complex located near Howell Mill Road and 14th Street. As the victim attempted to enter his apartment through the residential entrance, he became aware of two men talking behind him. He was pushed violently by Suspect Two, who placed something against the back of the victim’s head before taking the victim’s bag. He then handed the bag, which contained a computer hard drive, to Suspect One and the two walked off casually. The victim says that he never saw what Suspect Two had placed against his head.
Suspect One is described as a black male with an afro wearing a camouflage coat. Suspect Two is a stocky black male approximately 5-feet-8 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds. He was wearing black and white basketball shorts and a black shirt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to call the tip line of the Atlanta Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Information can also be submitted online at the state crimestoppers website, crimestoppersatlanta.org, or via text message to CRIMES (274637). Texts should contain “CSA” and the tip. It is not necessary for tipsters to reveal their name or any other information to be eligible for the reward.
