Hawaii Moped Rider in Serious Condition After Crashing Into Parked Car


In the residential neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii of Palolo, a man who was riding his moped crashed it into a parked car. He is in serious condition, according to Hawaii News Now. The man, 24, has not yet had the extent of his injuries or his identity released pending completion of an investigation into the accident.

Around 7:15 local time, authorities responded to the scene and treated the victim of the accident. The man had not been wearing a helmet when his moped crashed into the parked car.

10th Avenue between Waiomao Road and Kaalani Place has been temporarily closed off by the police. It will reportedly be re-opened as soon as an investigation following the accident is completed.

The man who crashed his moped into a parked car is in serious condition. An investigation into the accident is ongoing. Updates will follow as soon as further information becomes available and the extent of the unnamed man’s injuries become known.
