Las Vegas Metro Police have publicly identified the suspect in a Thursday morning fatal shooting which occurred in northwest Las Vegas. Police ask that the public report any sightings of the suspect or any information regarding his whereabouts. The suspect, Terrell Hodges, 37, is thought to be involved in the murder of Michael O’ Brien, 62.
O’Brien was discovered deceased in front of a home located on the 6900 block of West Welsh Circle near Gowan Road and Rainbow. Officers believe that shortly before police arrived on the scene, Hodges and O’Brien had been fighting near the home’s garage door. O’Brien is thought to have been shot next to the garage before walking down the driveway and collapsing in the street.
Hodges is a black male, approximately 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs between 130 to 140 pounds. O’Brien’s death is the 107th murder to be investigated by Las Vegas police in 2014.
