Justin Bieber “So Hot Right Now” for Cameo in Zoolander 2

Justin Bieber and Ben Stiller let the cat out of the bag recently, hinting that the artist will make an appearance in Zoolander 2 , with a cryptic image on their respective social media accounts of Stiller and his Blue Steel pose mirrored by Bieber and his attempt at the same famed pose. The Zoolander movies mocks the fashion and beauty industry, and will do so again, which might be a good move for the troubled singer who is trying to move away from his spoiled, bad boy, superstar image, after a particularly nasty comedic roast not long ago.

Stiller will reprise his role as the “really, really, ridiculously good looking guy” and as a director for the movie. Owen Wilson returns as Zoolander’s rival Hansel, while Will Ferrell (Talledega Nights, Step Brothers) reprises the role as bad guy and egomaniac, Mugatu. New to the movie will be Kristen Wiig (Despicable Me, Paul), but her role is still not known. While the original Zoolander didn’t take off at the box office, it developed somewhat of a cult following, with quotes and poses from the movie part of every day pop culture with the Blue Steel pose and “So Hot Right Now” commonly used.

Zoolander 2’s first announcement came when Stiller and Wilson strutted the catwalk during the Valentino Show in Paris. They held a walk-off with their signature poses, wearing satin or silk pajamas and a suit and overcoats. Bieber also further announced his participation in the movie with another cryptic post, this time on his Facebook page saying, “Working on something big in Europe. To learn more follow me on Fahlo. He is so hot right now.”

Zoolander 2 is currently being filmed in Rome, Italy which coincides with the singer’s cryptic posts. Also possibly opens up to another potential walk-off. As for Bieber’s role in the movie, just like Kristen Wiig, we are unsure what his cameo will be. He could be a former student of “The Derek Zoolander Center For Kids Who Can’t Read Good and Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too.”

Based on the gradient in the image Bieber posted and Stiller retweeted, the young singer has also dyed his hair brunette for the role. It could be possible (and this is clearly speculation) that Bieber could either be a really young Zoolander or even a child of Zoolander. Comments of fans are just guessing but who knows? His role may not live up to David Bowie’s cameo, but with Stiller at the helm and working with Wilson again, you can bet it will be pretty funny.

In the original film, Zoolander is deposed as the most famous model by Wilson, suffers a crisis of beauty when he goes to work for his father in the mines before being brainwashed to join Ferrell’s cult to assassinate a world leader during a fashion show but is saved at the last minute by Hansel, and the two join forces to take the egomaniac down. Zoolander’s crashing of Paris Fashion Week and the Valentino Show announced the film will be released February, 2016.
