It may be tough to beat Pharrell Williams’ Happy, the longstanding number one hit that became an anthem for 2014, but Ed Sheeran has had a few number one hits, and Justin Timberlake is always tough to beat.
A special moment to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Breakfast Club will occur. Ringwald will introduce Simple Minds, who will perform Don’t You (Forget About Me) in tribute to the film. One can assume that with the passing of B.B. King this week that the show will be sure to mention him and play tribute to the man who had 10 Billboard chart hits.
The Billboard Music Award show and it all-star line up will air live this Sunday, May 17, at eight p.m from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
